Keystone Oaks School District Energy Efficiency Project Phase 1
Huckestein performed extensive repairs to existing HVAC systems to extend useful life until the equipment could be replaced in a cost efficient time frame.
Within Keystone Oaks School District, Huckestein was tasked with designing, engineering and installing mechanical Energy Conservation Measures (ECM) as a subcontractor to Constellation Energy.
Huckestein performed extensive repairs to existing Miller Picking AHUs to improve HVAC system performance and extend useful life until the equipment could be replaced in a cost efficient time frame.
To enhance the HVAC system’s energy efficiency, Huckestein also designed and installed a system of control, isolation and thermal expansion valves and variable frequency drives.
In the end, Huckestein helped the school district develop a 5-year capital plan to replace the HVAC equipment on a cost-effective timeline.
