Jonathan Staso

President

Jonathan is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business with expertise in financial analysis and projections, as well as credit negotiations. He joined Huckestein in 2014 to implement best practices in finance and operations learned while structuring and originating syndicated and leveraged loans for PNC Debt Capital Markets. During this time, he oversaw $10 billion of PNC-led transactions and worked directly with C-level executives across a range of industries. Jonathan is also the managing general partner of TNG Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm.

Michael Geyer

Controller

Mike has 20 years of experience as Controller for a variety of service and contracting firms. In his capacity at Huckestein, For Huckestein, Mike oversees all financial, accounting and human resources activities. Responsibilities will include budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting, as well as key areas within the human resources department including policy and procedure compliance and ongoing maintenance of HR practices. Mike was chosen for this role because of his extensive foundation in all aspects of accounting and human resource management, and his experience working with senior management both at the local level as well as the out-of-town ownership level.

Edward Tworek

VP of Service and Technology

Ed has 11+ years of experience in Information Systems Management with 8 years concentrated in the mechanical contracting industry. His expertise in strategy and data analytics play a critical role during the decision making process for the organization, as well as for our clients. Ed also manages the Service Team ensuring service exceeds customer expectations and preventive maintenance is being performed with a high return on investment for our customers.

VP & General manager

Rick has 25+ years of experience leading service and special projects in the mechanical contracting industry. His expertise includes translating complex design problems into solutions that satisfy customers and assembling expert teams perfectly aligned to handle any project for a customer.

Charles Ross

VP of Building Integration & Energy Services

Throughout his 20 years in the DDC Controls industry, Charles has sold, serviced, designed and installed, managed, and owned his own controls business, Crosstech in Canada. When Crosstech was acquired by Modern Niagara, Charles was brought on as Business Development executive and grew the branch for the new owners. Following that he was hired by Johnson Controls where he actively grew branches in Ontario and Pittsburgh. Charles has expertise with propriety and open protocol controls platforms, including Johnson Metasys and Facility Explorer, Distech, Niagara, among others, and has particular expertise transitioning one system to another to meet changing customer requirements. Charles has been charged with growing Huckestein’s in-house controls offerings and to lead a newly-formed company, CMS Controls.

Timothy Roos

VP of Construction and Design-Build Projects

Tim has 30+ years of trade and general management experience in the mechanical contracting industry, with an expertise in design build/design assist for energy management and complex mechanical projects. He managed and grew a startup company branch from inception to $12 million in 7 years.

Mark Wolfgang, P.E., LEED AP BD+C

VP of Engineering and Planning

Mark has 30 years of engineering experience, having earned the distinctions of Professional Engineer and LEED AP BD+C . His role at Huckestein aligns in-house engineering with meticulous craftsmen, and also includes pre-construction services to plan, coordinate and control a project from inception to completion, meeting client requirements while ensuring the affordability and constructability of every project.

Wendy P. Staso

CHAIRMAN

Wendy solves industry problems in innovative ways using her 30+ years of experience in a broad range of industries including mechanical contracting, energy, science and technology, transportation, construction, government contracting, and environmental management. Since purchasing Huckestein in 2010, she’s led the company to record improvement, growth and profitability and recognition as one of Pittsburgh’s 100 Fastest Growing Companies two years in a row.
