Retro-Commissioning
The Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum increased its energy efficiency and comfort with the help of Huckestein.
In 2013 Huckestein had the honor of helping the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum implement energy conservation measures (ECMs).
After an investment-grade energy audit, we designed and led the Retro-Commissioning (RCx) of the the museum’s physical plant, including the boiler plant, chiller plant, AHU mechanical room, and Honeywell controls system.
The improvements included rebuilding the steam boiler, replacing failed monitoring equipment, programming changes, meter calibration, and mechanical testing.
All work complied with the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) standards and returned the memorial’s mechanical systems to top performance.
