Doubletree Hotel Greentree Heat Pump Units
In 2012 RIDA Development Corporation was converting a hotel from a Radisson to a Doubletree, and needed help upgrading the building’s mechanical systems.
Huckestein collaborated closely with the developers on an accelerated timeline to demolish 475 packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) units and replace each with more energy efficient heat pumps.
Additionally, we helped RIDA Development Corporation identify and quantify energy consumption reductions and rebate opportunities through Act 149.
Our ongoing maintenance contract with this Doubletree Hotel location is a testament to the project’s success.
Since mechanical systems are the most costly and complicated scope in a renovation project, consider contracting directly with Huckestein to design-build that portion of the project.
