Greater Johnstown School District ECMs
Huckestein partnered with Constellation Energy to improve the Greater Johnstown School District’s mechanical systems.
As part of a full-scale energy efficiency project, Huckestein was selected by Constellation Energy to design and implement mechanical energy conservation measures (ECMs) for the Greater Johnstown School District.
Our turnkey solutions for the project included installing Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and premium efficiency supply fan motors, as well as modifying pipes and a boiler burner.
Pleased with our project delivery, Constellation Energy awarded us with more follow-on work for the school district.
Additional work included rebuilding various components of classroom HVAC units, installing new isolation valves and back-flow preventers, and upgrading thermostats and controls for the existing energy management system.
